November 2024 | You Are What You Think
‘I will never have what they have.’
‘I will never be like them.’
‘I will never achieve what they’ve achieved.’
Sound familiar?
Often times we are our own worst critic. Especially in the moments we failed or didn’t meet an expectation we set for ourselves. The judgement we have towards ourselves can be quite harmful and when we believe those thoughts and internal voice, we can lose sight of what we’re actually capable of.
Got 5-minutes?
The below audio clip is meant for the moments above. When you need a shift in perspective to break negative thought patterns. Keep this by your side while making breakfast, driving to work or when you hit a tough moment at work.
Over the past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure to work with Self Space and The Kings Trust.
I partnered with the talented team of therapists at Self Space to deliver practical mental health tips to the team at Charlotte Tilbury. Our session focused on understanding personal limits and how what we’re willing to tolerate affects our well-being. In fast-paced environments, it’s easy to overlook what we truly need to perform at our best.
In collaboration with The Prince’s Trust, I also supported their enterprise workshop, which provides young people with essential business skills. During a one-day session, I facilitated a workshop on building resilience through the highs and lows of business. We explored how developing this soft skill can enhance hard skills and how they can apply resilience in their daily lives.
